Polar bears hearing.
How do you test a polar bears hearing? It sounds like a joke but its actually true! Scientists in California are testing to see if the sound of the Arctic ice melting is effecting the bears hearing. The Arctic is usually very quiet but the ice, which is needed for polar bears to survive, are melting! The scientists are curious about how sensitive bears are to these noises. The scientists are worried that the increasing noise might scare the bears or make them think its a sign of food. Scientists found out that a bears senses are more sensitive then humans. Now scientists want to find out how bears in the wild are reacting to these noises.
